LAST DAY, LAST NITE @ DESA MUTIARA

We will move tomorrow. and i kinda still have loooooottssss of things to do. sekali tengok, mcm dh tak tau daa kat mana mau kemas. baju-baju dh kemas, cuma still kena tinggal sikit untuk pakai gi keja. baju zuzu n yaya pun kena tinggal beberapa helai sbb depa nih klu main/makan habis comot. cuma aku tengok bajunya si Amet mcm banyak giler jah dlm almari dia. mcm dia nak duk menyewa sorang kat Mutiara damansara ni lg ke hapa? suka hati, aku dh sound suh packing.nak buat, buat. xmau buat sudah.

Dua tiga hari nih Amet begitu melebarkan mulutnya yg besaq itu untk membebel aku supaya mengemas itu ini. aku pulak agak x berapa menyempat dengan adanya gangguan si kecik- si kecik yg sekejap nak 'shushu', satgi nak ayaq, sorang lagi pulak menjerit mcm anak tarzan. sampai last2 Amet yang mengemas (sambil muulutnya terus berleter). bagus2....
Aku dh buat planner, tp mcm still ada yg ter'miss' jugak sikit2.

And ada dalam list tu, aku kena beli langsir untuk bilik2. tapi langsung takdek masa nak gi beli. ada hari yg aku nak pi, encik Amet pulak buat2 sibuk. pastu semalam, dah janji (menerusi YM semasa keja) nak pi beli. sekali bila aku dh sampai umah, dia kata takmau pi pulak. encik Amet ni perangai dia mmg camni. suka tak ikut planning. pastu aku buat muncung sepanjang galah, pukui 8 mlm barulah terhegeh2 nak pi pulak. dapat la jugak beli langsir last minit. tapi takde design yg sesuai utk bilik kanak2 nih. so aku beli jek yg plain kaler pink, nanti taulah apa aku nk letak kasik ceria bilik depa tu (mcm la dua ekoq tu mau tdoq bilik sendiri).

And di sebalik keseronokan nak berpindah ni, rasa sedih jugak nak tinggalkan jiran-jiran kt Desa Mutiara yg amat baik, friendly, dan dh rapat rasa mcm kakak2 sendiri pulak. even babysitters Zuzu n Yaya pun mcm rasa payah jek nak lepaskan depa. masa sembang2 semalam, the bbsitters tu bergenang jek ayaq mata. Isk3...ni yg buat aku nk nagis jugak nih... Aku pun rasa xtau mcmana anak2 aku kat taska pasnih. entah diberi perhatian mcm kakak-kakak ni buat ke tak. Sedihnya...

And esok, i dont know what will happen. esok i hv to go to work.. and i hv sore throat, suara dh mcm itik angsa nak fight dengan ayam. nasib baik we all just upah orang untuk ngangkat barang2. tp dgn sora mcm nih ntah larat ka tidak aku nak jerit2 kat bangla tu semua... sigh*.

List of things yang tak buat lagi :

* call plumber utk repair sinki yg longgar
* pinjam cutter untuk potong padlock yg xleh buka
* mop lantai bg bersih (dr sisa2 tanah samak hari tu)
* potong rumput / lalang yg sama tinggi dgn tuan rumah
* cat gate (dh berkulat)
* cuci cermin sliding door (tp hari tu mcm dh gatal tangan sangat gi pasang langsir, so kena bukak balik...)
* and the list goes on...

Uuhhh..sememangnya berpindah rumah amat memenatkan. bukan sahaja pada hari tersebut, malahan 2 minggu sebelum, dan maybe sebulan selepas pindah. Huhuhu....

PENCUCIAN & PENSAMAKAN RUMAH

pada 28/6/09 yang lalu, kami disertai along & abg fauzan telah mencuci rumah kami yg bakal diduduki. disebabkan rumah itu telah disewa oleh orang non-muslim sebelum ini, kami membuat keputusan untuk samak keseluruhan rumah tersebut.

Aktiviti berjalan lancar dan kami sangat letih.

(kenapa penulisan di atas menjadi underline? biarkan.saya amat letih untuk mengedit)

Semoga saya tidak lagi menjatuhkan, melanggar dan memcahkan barang2 di dapur yg lebih luas ini. Saya juga berjanji akan memasak lauk pauk sesedap-sedapnya di dapur ini.


Jauhkan pandangan dari penutup toilet yg sudah kunng itu. Saya akan menukarkannya dengan warna yg lebih menarik.

Abg Fauzan yg rajin sdg berposing seolah-olah hanya beliau seorang sahaja yg sedang membuat kerja manakala yg lain sedang bersuka ria.

Diskusi bedah siasat (post-mortem) bagi mengenalpasti kekurangan/kelemahan yg perlu diperbaiki.

JACOBS WALK OF LIFE

Since Zulaikha and Zubaidah had fallen asleep, I would like to take the chance to blogging. Yah it’s been quite buzy days for me lately. With the audits at office, with the CAR to be replied, with the remeh temeh matters to touch up with the bank,lawyer and owner of our new-house-to-be-so-soon, with the house chores and baju bertimbun yang tak habis2 dibasuh – semua di atas had leave me energyless to blog at night (before this bleh blog kt ofis, tp now takut sbb mata-mata kat ofis aku dh makin bertambah, benci okeh).

Nak cerita pasal last weekend 21 June Aku, Amet, Kak Ngah (adik aku), Zuzu n Yaya joined the Jacob’s Walk of Life. Kami bertolak at about 7.15 am. The event was held at Tmn Metropolitan Kepong (tempat yg main layang2 dkt dgn area Selayang tu).We had pre-registered online about a month ago. So bila sampai kami expected to be served like last year’s event (last year just me n Amet yg pi sbb Zuzu blk kg that time, and Yaya was 6 months old in my tummy!), which means we’ll get a T-shirt when we show our pre-registeration coupon or IC. Unfortunately this year, hang daftar ka tak daftar, sapa sampai awal, bleh mintak T-shirt berapa puluh helai suka hati mak bapak dia jek. Disebabkan kami yg betoi bendoi nih, kami pun queue up la mengikut abjad nama – Amet went to A-D station, and me go to U-Z station. Disebabkan kelincahan aku, aku berjaya mendapat 2 helai T-shirt saiz M for me n Kngah. Masa tu x terlintas plak di fikiran nak mintak sekali untuk Amet and Zuzu sbb aku still ingat kena ikut registration mcm dulu.

Suddenly Amet call, dia ckp baju dh habis. Aku try g tengok tempat U-Z, pun dh habis gak. So frust menonggenglah dua beranak tuh.Nak exercise pun, dh habis acara. Tinggal orang2 yg betul2 nak join Walking saja.teruk betul la JWOL tahun nih. Dh la nk minum Anlene pun x dapat, nk mkn Jacobs pun berebut mcm pelarian Somalia. Memalukan! Aku rasa area tu mmg ramai org pendatang haram, or kampungan sampai x paham langsung arahan pihak penaja.

Disebabkan kekecewaan yg amat sgt, kami telah blah dr padang tersebut dan mencari breakfast yang tidak menyihatkan aitu minum di kedai mamak at Damansara Perdana. Huhu…

Sekianlah kisah Walk of Life yang hanya berhabis di atas jalanraya dan taman ermainan kanak-kanak sahaja tanpa dapat bersenam walau sekelumit pun. Benci. Next year aku nk berkhemah siap2 kat sana.B.U.D.U.H. sungguh arrangement tahun nih.Huh!

hahaha kepoyoan seorang ibu beranak dua.
kebetulan saja je bawak si kecik-si kecik ni berjalan2 kt One Utama. kebetulan ada la plak benda alah ni dok buat promotion kat situ. sapa beli voucher dpt barang of our choice + free make-up + bergambaq + dia cuci sekeping gambaq saiz A4. ni semua Amet la yg dook buat pulun suruh aku buat.aku ni xdak la intersted sangat..tp dah dia dok suruh x berhenti2, terpaksa la aku pi..keh keh keh...

Masa tengah mekap tu, si Zubaidah ni lak buat peranga megantuk, so terpaksala breastfeed dia sambil bermekap pulak. potong la markah ibu...huhuhu

Tp kurang puas hati sket sbb mekap artist tu mcm x paham aku punya request. aku nak mata kaler hijau, dia pi letak kaler brown2 gitu. pastu mcm x berapa naik dia punya mascara tu nampak eyeliner jek lebih. so mata aku nampak terbeliak mcm pontianak x cukup makan jek. benci tau...

pastu ambik gambaq pun x best sbb cameraman tu mcm x friendly langsung. aku nk senyum bat gaya2 model professional pun x menjadi sbb x lalu tengok cameraman tuh.

tapi best bila bleh tambah koleksi perfume Estee. this time, i choose Beautiful Sheer. plus, dapat sebijik mascara + lipstick + small make-up case.

And after jalan2 dapat lagik kasut Vincci. Semua di atas adalah hadiah sempena Father's Day!!! Heheehhe....day for a father to buy gifts for a mother..keh keh keh (pandailaa....)

NUBY

Zubaidah is a bit hard on bottle-feeding. asyik2 nak breast feed ja memanjang. tp nasib baik masa kt umah baby sitter dia ok (bila dh lapar dia hentam jelah kot apa yg ada).

Nak dijadikan cerita her babysitter is on leave from 10 - 14 june, so i take the turn to jaga dia for two days (wed - thursday) and my mom comes to babysit on friday onwards. So masa dok dgn aku tuh, langsung dia takmau minum susu botol.macam2 cara aku buat - bancuh susu cair, susu pekat, susu suam, susu sejuk, semua dia buat main2 ja. and i hv tried few types of bottles, name it - AVENT, Dr. Brown, botol murahan cap Giant, Baby Kiko and few others.

Until 2-3 hari lepas, we went to One Utama (bawak Zulaikha jalan2 after sebulan dia kt kampung, kang dia lupa pulak OU tu heheh), and I saw a Nuby bottle at Mothercare shop. But when i asked for the smallest (5 oz) size, it is out of stock.

So i decided to go to The Curve today and luckily, i found a last piece (ada few bottles lagi but bigger size) after masuk keluar 4 bijik kedai okeh...

Apa yang penting kerjee..same.., the Nuby nipples are more likely to mother's natural nipple. Plus it is BPA-free, non-drip nipple type.

Alhamdulillah...after trying the first gulp, Zubaidah telan habis licin semua susu 3 oz tu. keh keh keh..lega sikit hati ibu tengok budak gumok nih minum susu. So plan nk mula kurangkan BF, and nk start fully formula (ibu yg malas). Hopefully dia akan terus suka dengan botol tu dan boring2 mcm botol lain dah...

Otherwise, i might try the next brand i've been spying on - the Tommy Tippee Easivent bottle pulak..Baby-baby sekarang nih bijak-bijak. Botol susu pun can be very choosy. apa nk buat...ibu nk pi keja, kena lah cari jugak botol yg sesuai...huhuhu

LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS

Ooohhh..lemah semangat aku nak tulis entry nih tau. actually aku dah malas nak sumpah seranah tempat aku bekerja. ye lah dimana aku bekerja, di situlah rezeki aku makan dan bagi makan kat anak-anak aku betoi tak? tapi bila dah sampai tahap kebangangan yang maksima...meletop jugakkk!!
korang pernah dengar tak proverb "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"?

Aku rasa kita semua dah dengar proverb nih sejak tadika lagi. walaupun aku cuma belajar kat Garden International School tadika Kemas Kg. Telaga Nyiur Manis, itu hanyalah proverb biasa yang bermain di mulut2 comel kami. and i (as well as most of my friends) keep saying it thousands time during our school days (Hey SMKAP girls, do you remember kita tampal this proverb poster in our kelas 2 Sumaiyah?).

Then, one day in a meeting in this so called big company, aku pun mengeluarkan this proverb just to menggambarkan how is our situation (the operators work EVERYDAY days and night including Sundays). I tried to grab their (the big bosses) attention to give a little bit condiseration to the workers to get some rest and time for their valuable family, and of course time for their own refreshment, so that they can improve by giving quality works instead of buat keja sambil terlelap.

So come this GENERAL MANAGER "apa yang kamu cakap tu?". frowning and blur. and i bet the Directors dont even able to catch up my saying (poor English listening skill, definitely).

Oh my Godddd!!!!! And the others (ahli mesyuarat) some smiling (yg pernah dengar, maybe) and some look even blur dan ternganga.

bila la nak berkembang maju kalau macam nih? patutla pun produk dia takde kat oversea. aku bukan la berlagak pandai sangat & bangga cakap bahasa penjajah nih. but sometimes, we just need English. especially for the board of Directors and managers. takkanlah english words yang level2 tadika pun xleh paham.

Aku rasa, that will be my last English word here. Next time, dont dare to talk English in this meLAYU place.they will treat you like a dog among the cats...huh!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

(I just get to know it is celebrated on Second Sunday of May, so the day may vary for each year)

Today is Mother's Day.
I am celebrating without my Princess Zuzu by my side.
I am celebrating it all alone in ofiice. I have to work on Sunday, on Mother's Day.
I am not getting any gifts, or a kiss.
Because my Princess Zuzu is far in Perlis.
And Princess Yaya yet to know how to give me a kiss, but just pandai menangis.

To my mother & mother in law, Happy Mother's Day i wish to you.
I love both of you, hope you love me too. Hohohoho...

**Aku amat sangap dipaksa bekerja pada hari ini**

PULANGKAN...OH PULANGKANLAH

Ini cerita backdated. Labour Day tu kami balik kampung, ambik cuti tambahan so dptlah stay dlm 5 hari kat kampung. semua best kat kampung, kecuali tahap kepanasan di tahap gaban terbakar. sempat pi umah semua sedara mara terdekat, and sempat jugak jumpa kawan-kawan rapat (Aida n family, Isma n husband, Elly n family) lepak2 kat tepi pantai.

tapi yg x bestnya...masa nak balik tu...semua org mintak suruh tinggal Zulaikha kat kampung.depa (mak ayah aku & mak ayah in-law) cakap sebab depa kesian tengok aku yg dah kurus melidi. depa cakap aku nampak cengkung, mata tenggelam mcm hantu raya tak cukup rehat, x cukup masa untuk menikmati keseronokan uruskan diri sendiri. huhuhuhu...manusia nih mmg mcm tu. kalau aku balik dengan badan gemuk, mesti cakap aku x pandai jaga badan, makan tak kawal atau masuk angin. nih aku dah slim comel lote mcm anak dara,cakap aku x cukup makan pulak. adusss...cakap je lah mmg depa nak ambik zulaikha.huhuhu..amet pulak siap pasang pakatan rakyat komplot ngan mak-mak nih supaya agenda mereka itu berjaya. tidak kusangka, laki aku yang menjadi tali barut disebalik semua ini! akhirnya..ibu dan anak yang saling merindui itu telah dipisahkan....huhuuhuhu...

depa kata nak jaga zulaikha sampai aku gemuk gedempol sebulan (Insya Allah kami akan balik kampung lagi 6/6/09 ni sempena pertunangan adik ipar aku), tapi aku rasa dalam seminggu ni pun dah rindu membuak-buak kat dia. aku tak kira, minggu depan aku nak paksa mak hantaq anak aku balik. kalau tidak, aku suruh zulaikha beli tiket naik bas sendiri!
Zulaikhaa!!! Pulanglah!!! Ibu rindu padamuuu!!!!

IN PROGRESS

Finally, we have signed the S&P (sales and purchase agreement) as well as the bank loan agreement. Alhamdulillah...after passing by the hassle & messels, we are already at half-way.

Eventhough the house is a second-hand (we cant afford to buy new development as we will need to pay both for rumah sewa & rumah baru), we are still very excited to move in. well, at least it is uch much spacious compared to the rented apartment we stay currently. and anyhow, it will be our OWN house and we can do anything we want without asking permission to the owner.

Talking about permission, we just got greenlight from our lanlord to install an aircond at the apartment. we cannot wait until we move to the new house, but to install the aircond first as Zubaidah doesnt seems to sleep soundly at night due to hot weather nowadays. I've asked the contractor about the disamble and re-installation cost (once we move out) and agreed as it doesnt cost a bomb.

BAck to our new house, it is already renovated - with kitchen cabinets and extended wet kitchen. So that i will have a bbiiiiggggggg dry & wet kitchen as what i've been dreaming for years.

Thanks God i will not need to squeeze myself while cooking anymore. And no more screaming to Zulaikha & Zubaidah if they come 'to help' me baking cakes or potong sayur together. Oh, how fun to have those cute little girls accompany me cooking all the time. And if mothers & sisters come, that kitchen will be the place for gossipings and 'buat ketupat', heh!

However, we still have to wait for about 1 - 2 months for-bank-owners-us-transferring process/drawdown/change title and so. Hmm..i still have time to think if i want to add anything else before we move in - maybe the hob & hood, En.Amet?

Komen : For the food i will give 3 stars but the service is not memuaskan hati. you know the typical indon - loklaq, kasar and kurang respect customer. and the handwash area is a bit dirty. Urrkkk!!! Tp sedap le...

CHANGE AGAIN?

i was on half day EL yesterday when Amet call, asking me to go back to look after Zulaikha. she got msg from the babysitter that Zulaikha is having high fever.
We meet at home and took Zulaikha to PMC. the doctor give her pcm suppository (this girl mmg suusaaahhh sangat makan ubat), so she looks better in few hours. but her face still look reddish and burning of high temperature. the only problem is to give her the oral antibiotics (pharmmacist, please create a suppository for antibiotics too..!!) Baru jek nk suap setitik, dia dh muntah. aduss...

Today, i am on leave - took Zubaidah for vaccination. just 2 of us went to clinic. she just nangis (mcm x nanges jek?) sikit, then fall asleep after kena cucuk. and continue sleeping all the way back home. lentok jeh atas car seat tuh, kesian...
sampai umah dia terus tidur dgn amat lena, so aku pun tumpanglah sekaki.hehehhehe
until 1 o'clock, terpaksa bangun nak siap--siap, pi mana? ada invitation. interview. heheehehheh
then, after interview, my head start pening. it's not that i''m not feeling well, but it's about to choose - do i really wants to quit my current job? do i really wants to join the new company?
the new one offered me more, but in terms of allowences, they had less. while the current one give less basiics but with more allowences.
and if after this i move to our new house, i have to pay every-day-toll to go to the new one.
pheww...this time it's quite hard for me to make decision. usually i never reject any job offred. dapat jeh offer lebih, terus blah. tp sekarang nih dh pandai demand, dh belh buat pro & con. maklumlah...dh byk pengalaman...heheheh
well, lets take a rest first. i will think better when i'm relaxed.

I wish i have more time and more energy everyday - i've been thinking of what to blog since few days but couldnt find a right time to do that. i had so many stories in queue to be listed in this blog.

after the HSBC day (14/4/09), we went again to HSBC Amanah on 16/4/09, just to clarify on few questions lingering in our mind, and as well as getting advice from the friendly banker (Mr. Fazli). I tell you, this is the most convenient bank i hv ever been. they treat us like frinds, play with Zulaikha n Zubaidah, buat lawak sini sana, but on the same time doing the job efficiently. even the manager (thanks Mr. Tengku Azhar) comes and see us and talks and give advice aboout this and that (Ok to tell the truth, we are gathering infos for housing loan and other infos on S&P, lawyer/loan agreemnet fees etc.) And they make us feel like at home. And we stay late until 10 pm (the bank supposed to close at 9.30 pm). i would like to highly recommend this branch to everybody as i am sure all of friends are looking for the best service too.

And to continue discussion, we went there again on Sunday (yes, they open 7 days/week too). Until then we agreed to open an account, get their insurance etc. so they give us 3 bags of compliments gift and umbrellas.Bravo!!!

So if you are looking for the bestest bank in the town, kindly proceed too the HSBC Amanah @ One Utama - you'll definitely get the first gold class bank service.

PETANG YANG MALAM

On Sunday (12/4/09), aku isu satu cek dekat orang, but asked her to cash it on Tuesday (14/4/09) sebab aku akan gi bank in duit dalam my HSBC account on Monday.
So on Monday, aku gi ambik duit dari Maybank n CIMB and nak gi cash depositkan kat HSBC. first time aku masukkan duit, ATM machine tu reject with note "Not more than 30 pcs per transaction." OK so aku masukkan 20 keping. but this time keluar plak mesage "Kad ditelan. Sila hubungi pihak bank". And that time was 5.50 pm. the bank is already closed. i asked the guard what shuld i do. luckily HSBC guard is very well trained (and good in english too! Tahniah!!), so he asked me to use the phone at the corner to talk to their Customer Service Representative (CSR).

"Can i hv ur IC number please?
Given.
"I'm so sorry but your name is not listed here. Culd u pls spell ur name for me?"
Given.
"I'm so sorry miss, ur name is really not listed in our system.I suggest u go to our branch at One Utama bcause they still open until 9.30 pm.Thank you."

"Yes, please. my atm card dh kena retained kat uptown td. i nk depositkan duit je. tp x bawak pulak no akaun."

"I couldnt find anything under ur name, or IC number here. peliknya..when do u opened the account, and what type of account it is?"
"It is a PowerVantage, come with atm card and cheque book. i opened in April 2006."

"Let me call few friends from other branches. And one from Call Centre too. Hope they can help. Actually, kalau u ada bawak no akaun, it will be helpful."

Tengah jalan nk g parking, Amet called me.

"Akaun HSBC ayg tu dh auto-closed, invalid."
"Ha, why dont u go back to HSBC tu and ask them to buat bank draft. bahaya la bawak duit byk2 dlm beg tu."
"Hmm..ok jugak."

HSBC OU, again.

"Fazli, sorry ek. bleh tolong buatkan bank draft utk saya tak?"
"Hehehehe...ok buleh2...meh duduk. Tp ada syaratnya...u hv to open an account with us."
"Alamak...akaun baru la pulak..oklah, register je lah.."
setelah sekian lama, bangun duduk x tau berapa kali, siaplah jugak my new account at HSBC Amanah.

Dah puku 9.00 pm. Amet plak ckp byk keja kt ofis. Anak-anak x ambik lg. Bank draft ni kena hantar malam ni jugak, nanti org tu cakap aku bg cek tendang pulak. Hari hujan.

Singgah umah jap, ambik anak-anak. Teruskan perjalanan yang mencabar di dalam hujan lebat, meredah jalam jam di malam gelap gelita, bersama dua anak kecik.

Sampai kt umah org tu, terus bagi dia bank draft tu. and mtk maaf coz acccount for the cheque is no longer valid.

On the way back, singgah jap Petronas, brreastfeed Zubaidah yg crying loudly n hungrily. Zulaikha had fall asleep at the back seat after crying few times asking for "shushu". Then terus balik umah, sampai dh dkt pukul 10 pm. Penat amat sgt okeh. Nk singgah tapau food kt mamak pun x larat dh. So just call McDelivery jek, amatlah x kenyang sekali. huhuuhu

Tetiba telefon bebunyi...(Wonderpets)

"Yuzaini, the bank draft aaaaaa...salah spelling nama woo...it shuld be W, but u put here M."
"Alamak..really ah? Aiyoo... salah lagi..Then how ah? Can i change a new one tmrow evening?"
"It's ok, i have an HSBC account too. why dont u just transfer to me. you can keep the transaction receipt as a proof lah."
"Hmm..oklah. but i still hv to go to the bank tmrow to cancel the bank draft. otherwise, my account will be empty bu now."
"It's ok, i can wait until tmrow."

So tmrow morning, ambik MC lah jawabnya! Ajak Amet sekali MC hahahha. pagi2 gi lagi HSBC OU tuh. pak guard tu pun dh kenal muka aku. cancelkan BD, transfer duit kt org tu.ok it's done. then received sms from org tu she had received the money in her account. Phew...lega sgt2. Alhamdulillah...setel satu hal. Terus gi makan2 kt food court. then balik umah, aku tiiidooooqqqqq dr kui 3.00 sampai kui 6.30 ptg. ambik anak2 gi minum mamak.what a wonderfull day (cause i learned lots of things).

KELANTAN NEGERI MAKANAN

There are lots of story to tell but seems like i'm always packed with a looonggg qeue of duties to be finished up. even when i'm typing this i still have 2 baskets of clothes that i should lipat and susun dalam almari, another one basket of dirty clothes to be cleaned (eventho i do hv a washing machine, but i still have to sidai it manually huh), and very thankful that nowadays Amet send his working shirts to laundry shop for ironing, heh!

Life is geting hectic (and headache) this few days - with kerja ofis yg bertambun-timbun, with Zubaidah yg got flu so not sleeping sounndly at night as she used to do, with Zulaikha yg dah langsung tak pandai nak tido awal (the earliest is 2.00 am okeh), and with few other things that i hv to think about (read : future planning and so).

oh ya, actually this entry supposed to be the story of our trip to Kelantan on last 13 March. we were attending Amet's friend wedding as well as jalan-jalan cari makan.

unfortunately, we didn't managed to get Nasi Kerabu on the first day, but just had Nasi Goreng Ayam (as usually found in KL) instead. felt so merugikan duit membeli makanan yang not traditionally Kelantan as our main intention is memang to go for makan Nasi Kerabu everyday, plus other dishes that jarang-jarag ditemui di KL like Nasi Ayer, sate perut percik, and the 'pretty ugly' kuihs.

it was only on the second day that Epe (Amet's friend in KB) suggest us to go to Yati Ayam Percik, a restaurant which serve variety of Nasi kerabu (ada putih, biru & kuning) and all the lauk pauk percik.

And so lucky at that time the Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu held a Pesta Makanan Kelantan (seems like they memang prepare it for me, so honoured, heh). So we bolot all the food yg mmg telah diidam-idamkan. Zulaikha had fall in love with Cik Mek Molek and Pulut i-dont-know-what-the-name-is, while i bought 'Miang Kam' - a Thai traditional snack, which to eat this you have to fold a daun kadok containing baked coconut,dried shrimps, baked peanuts, small piece of lime, bird chillies and a special sauce made of palm sugar.Kak Ngah tried the Nasik Ayer and Amet tak berani to try others but stick to just Nasi Kerabu (again and again).

The last day we had breakfast at Epe's house. His mother served us Nasi Dagang. i was not a Nasi Dagang person bcoz i dont really fancy curry lemak, but this time i found it very very very delicious that i eat every single rice in the plate, heh heh. The curry was not so lemak, and a bit spicy which just nice to suit my taste.(Nyum...meleleh air liur masa taip nih).

And maybe sebab kesiankan kami yang x sempat makan banyak2 nasik kerabu for all 3 days kat sana, Epe's mother had kindly prepare Nasi Kerabu tapau for us. sik isk amatlah terharu...Mekacih ye makcik..kalau nak datang KL jgn lupa bawak lagi...

From Epe's house kami terus balik ikut Jalan Pantai and singgah for a while at Pasar Payang to buy batiks and keropok losong. but all the way it's raining very heavily so we didnt berkesempatan to drop by the beautiful beaches to mandi manda (berat jeh bawak baju mandi,huh).

I really enjoyed the trip eventho penat a bit with Zulaikha & Zubaidah's punya pe'el.

(Oh ya, sempat jugak gi my old skool and berpossing kt situ, keh keh keh).

Restaurant Review : Mango Chili (Kinrara) & Mohsin (TTDI)

Disebabkan kekalutan dengan dua anak2 kecik ini, maka ibu telah memutuskan untuk tidak memasak apa2. Sebab? Kalau masak sendiri kat umah, pastu nak kena lap dapur, cuci periuk, basuh pingan cawan, lap meja makan dan lain2 yg sesungguhnya amat tak sempat sekali untuk dibuat dengan properly.

So ask Amet try makan kat Mango Chili @ Giant Bandar Kinrara sbb dia dok cerita yg Somtam kat situ best. Sampai situ at about 3 pm dh jd mcm minum petang plak. Makan nasik ayam percik and it's already served with Mango salad, so x jd nk order somtam takut x habis plak. The food is nice, cuma sambal dia tu x cukup pedas untuk aku.

Pas makan bawak Zulaikha main2 kt tempat mainan tu jap. Then balik singgah IOI Mall, dia main lagi Merry Go Round.Belikan dia happy meal sbb dr td xnak mkn apa2 sbb sibuk nk berjalan2. Dah habis comot dgn Milo tumpah kat baju semer, kami pun balik...

Singgah jap cari food for dinner kat Mohsin @TTDI. Beli Mumtaz Naan + Tandoori. This naan is highly recommended to all of you. Served with layers of cheese, mayonaise, tomato and salsa...hmmm - Mesti try!!!

RESTAURANT REVIEW : WENDY'S

Last few nights (if not mistaken, Friday), we had a quickie dinner at Wendy's (sbb cik abg aku balik keja lambat sampai umah dh dkt pukui 9). Wendy's is not new in fast food business, they hv established well in few other countries, but maybe quite new for Malaysian.

we choose to to the nearest Wendy's at Giant Kota Damansara. The restaurant is just a typical fast food style. There were ample of places to sit (maybe it's not getting very popular compared to Ramly Burger heh!) And i think this outlet doesnt have enough workers. there were few dirty unoccupied tables waiting to be cleared. And our burgers came a bit late - not sure if they tried to protect the burgers' quality (preparation prior order only), or they dont have enough workers.
Amet had "Half pound double with cheese" small combo meal - come with fries and small soft drink. the patties look quite miserable - macam kepal-kepal dgn tangan jek. but taste nice and juicy. however, i feel that the spices are not enough to cover the raw meat-smell (hey, i am one of the sensory panel in Ramly okeh).

and for me, i tried the "Ultimate Chicken Grill" - a piece of full chicken breast, grilled and served with mustard and veggie. very simple and not spicy (maybe more suitable for Zulaikha). And i choose the Twisted Frosty, which finally dihabiskan oleh Zulaikha jek.

For me, there's nothing much extra special compared to other fastfood chain currently available in Malaysia. Maybe the menu can show a bit different, yet the price is slighthly more compared to McD, KFC and Burger King.

P/S : I always wonder when KFC Waikiki brger will make a comeback. this is the most lovely brger i ever had since (can feel the pineaple creammelting in my mouth now)

RELAXING

Balik keja ptg semalam, terus singgah kedai beli serbuk jelly nk buat dessert sket sbb dh lama x buat makan sendiri puas2. klu mkn kt kedai bleh rasa sket jek.lagipun kat umah ada bertin-tin fruit coktail hadiah from supplier.so sampai umah terus masak before ambik Zubaidah. kejap je buat puding ni, dlm 15 min siap dah.pastu biar sejuk dlm freezer,tgh malam nanti bleh la makan. Yummyy....

Pastu bangun pagi ni bawak sikit untuk staf2.kesian kat diorang keja penat2 kena la appreciate (bos yg baik kan aku nih).


Petang nih xtau nk buat apa.rest je lah kt umah.kemas2 umah skit (sawang kt dinding tu dh tebal makcik oi..).Amet g Lowyat beli brg komputer. Zulaikha ikut Mak Yan gi jalan2 umah sdara dia. just tinggal aku ngan Zubaidah jek. Oh by the way, Zubaidah dh bleh meniarap. Tu dia tengah tertonggeng sorang2 while ibu sdg berinternet ria...xoxoxo...

For lunch, i already have 2 pieces of pizza tapau back from office (ada jamuan tadi). So satgi bleh la golek2 dgn Zubaidah (bukan senang ooo nak bleh santai mcm ni...).

Hmm...maybe bleh buat home facial sikit kot sambil baring2 (sementara si monster kecik tu belum balik).

BONGKAK

Entri ini bukan untuk mengutuk sesiapa. tetapi sebagai peringatan bagi yang lali, termasuk aku sendiri.
Aku berdepan dengan 2 watak ini setiap hari. Mereka mempunyai persamaan - sedikit bongkak / membangga diri / bercakap besar / takabbur.

Watak A
Setiap masa berjumpa dengan dia, tak habis-habis bercerita tentang kehebatan anak2nya dan kebahagiaan keluarganya. Semuanya lengkap, anaknya bijak dan sebagainya. Dia juga bangga dengan kesuburannya dan ketererannya merancang keluarga tanpa menggunakan ubat-ubatan / peralatan. Satu hari dia maklumkan dia mengandung lagi. Saban hari dia bercerita perancangannya untuk buat baju mengandung fesyen itu dan ini, persediaannya membeli kelengkapan bayi yg bermacam-macam. walhal kandungannnya belum pun mencecah 3 bulan. setiap kali dia bercerita orang akan diam - tanda malas melayan. hari ini dikhabarkan dia keguguran. aku tidak mahu membuat apa-apa kesimpulan, tetapi cukuplah sekadar mengucapkan takziah.

Watak B
Dia baru sahaja join our company. and he was from quite a well-known-food-company. and he was a chef. and he keep telling me everyday all the fortune he has - he bought 2 houses and is planning to buy another one. he got 2 cars, he got resthouses in Port Dickson, Langkawi, this and that island and here and there. And he knows to do this and that. and he knows great people, the datuks and tan sris and befriend with the royal families and all. (please dont throw up reading this ok - i have been facing this every second every day and still steady). and oh ya, the latest one he told me this morning that he always chit chat with the MK Land owner (oh yeaa?? then why you still live in a cheap apartment instead of 3-storey-bungalow?)

then last week they said his was stolen - a Proton Waja. and today, his Kelisa pulak has been stolen. and i heard that his wife got VSS due to the everywhere-retrench-situation now. well, i hope his kaya-raya and millionaire-friends will give him a free car and a big position for his jobless wife.

that's all - just a two story stories to share. you make your own conclusion.
