MY NEW WORK SPACE

TADAA......Lets have a look...very nice aaa...tp sayang tak dapat ambik gambaq kerusi hijau yg cantik itu. Tertolak ke tepi pulak masa ambik gambaq tadi. tapi palah. that's all..nak menunjuk ja. Well, by the way, do you notice my MacMini over there? Just next to the monitor. MAybe you all tak perasan.Maklumlah...it a mini. well,please focus.Thank you.Hahahaha.....

Aku kan paling sangat tak suka bila orang komen apa yg aku pakai masa aku tengah pregnant ni. Aku memang tak suka pakai maternity dress. That’s it. Full stop.
Pagi ni pagi-pagi lagi aku dah hangin. Kat ofis aku ni ada seorang tea-lady. She’s 2 years younger than me. But she’s already a mother of two. So she always pretend that she has thousands of pregnancy experiences to share.
Apa yg dia cakap yg membuatkan aku bengang sangat tu?
Dia : Eh, kau pakai jeans ker?(We are allowed to wear jeans/casual to office on Friday)
Aku : Ha a…
Dia : Isk, tak elok pakai ketat-ketat masa tengah ngandung ni.
Aku : Tak ketatlah. Ni seluar orang mengandung la. Ada getah kat pinggang ni..
Dia : Ye lah tu..walaupun ada getah, tapi ketat. Tak elok untuk baby.
Aku : Mana ada, apa yg tak elok tu? Diorang dah buat research la before jual seluaq ni.
Dia : Nati baby kau takleh nak gerak.
Aku : Ok.
(Biasala aku bukan suka sangat gaduh2 dengan orang yg cakap tanpa asas saintifik ni)

And I am kind of a person that don’t really care about all those “don’t-do-that-things”. I eat everything I want, I drink cold water and ice-creams all the time, I put soy ketchup in my cooking and rice, I watch ghost and scarry movies, I sleep on my tummy, I run and jump, I ride motorcycle to work, and all. – I believe that getting pregnant should not be a barrier to have fun and enjoy your life, rite?

And so I think when it comes to dressing. I think i can still bergaya as usual - wear pants and jeans and skirts. But of course i'll make sure it's the maternity pants with kanggaroo bag in-front. And i can still feel my baby kicking all the time (Baby aku sekarang ni mmg active gila. Menendang tak henti-henti.Penat ooo)

So that's the story lah.(Actually byk lg nak lepas geram nih, tp dah buat appointment dgn tuan rumah, dia dah call. dan nak maki puas-puas..)

STARBUCK

Just a short and sweet story to share.Has been quite busy with new job, so tak sempat nak update lagi. Anyway, today I’m not going to bercerita about my new office. Maybe weekend ni, I really need to update – there’s a lot of story to tell.

So today, let me tell you what has happened during the lunch time tadi. Normally we will go out for lunch at about 12.30 p.m. But today ada beberapa orang contractor nak buat sedikit kerja, and they need to shut off the main electricity switch. So we went out for lunch early – at almost 12 o’clock. So after makan2, we lepak2 for a while lah while waiting for the contractor to finish their job. Then later come our HR Manager,Kris, also wants to makan there.
While waiting for her to finish food, we borak2 about our birthdays. Then suddenly Kris said “ Eh, tomorrow is Alex birthday la. What are we going to give him aaa? What does he like?”
Then the talkative Kiran comes with her idea “I saw that everyday he brings Starbuck coffee to office. How about treating him with Starbuck’s voucher?”
Haaa..gooodd idea – everybody agree.

Suddenly Kris’s phone rang “Ah.. I need to go back to office now. The contractor is waiting for me. Ha by the way who’s going to purchase the Starbuck’s voucher? How about Agasthiya and Yuz?”
Ok – we both agree.

So Agasthiya and I walked down to the Starbuck café.
Me : Hi, ummm we would like to purchase a voucher.
The Guy : Oh ok, but you need to go thru my manager, and he’s currently not in the office. Maybe pergi toilet kot.
Us : Ok, we will wait here.
The Guy : Ok, please have a seat.

After waiting for a while…we still didn’t see the manager’s batang hidung.
Us : Lambat lagi ker?
The Guy : Ummm..not sure. Maybe he went to the bank.
Us : What? Tadi you kata dia pergi toilet?
The Guy : Err…sorry actually I’m not sure. Anyway, would you like to have some drink?
Us : (Dengan muka bengang) Kalau free ok laa….(Gila x tau malu)
The Guy : Yaa….sure sure, I’ll give you free. What do you want?
Us : Anything laa..as long as not plain water (Demand pulak)
The Guy : Hehehehe…of course. I’ll give you Iced Latte ok?
Then we got our Iced Latte, one each. Good customer service haa..??? But the manager still not coming back.

Aghasthiya : Eh Yuz, you see or not, that guy aaa..is not giving this because of customer service you know. He’s looking at you la..i think he is flirting with you laa..
Me : Hahahaha..maybe he didn’t see my big tummy haa??
Aghasthiya : Ya lah, I think so. Hahahaha…
Me : I think we should go back first la. Maybe can ask their phone number so that we can call the boss later.

We walk to the counter..
Us : Can we have your phone number. We cannot wait for long.
The Guy : Errr..what if you give me YOUR phone number (sambil mengeluarkan handphonenya, dan tengok kat aku), then I can ask my boss to call you back.
Me : Aghasthiya, give yours la. I didn’t bring mine.
The Guy : Oooo.. (muka frust).
Hahahaha…what do you think? I will simply give my phone number over one cup of free coffee? Jangan harap la dik oi…Cuba celik mata kau tu luas2 tengok kat perut akak ni…

Then Aghasthiya gave hers, and we walked out of the café with free latte in our hands. Hahahha…..what a nice day haa….Lalalala….kami bernyanyi riang…..
